Emergency Preparedness Virtual Training

The Louisiana Department of Health’s Bureau of Chronic Disease Prevention and Healthcare Access has finalized its Emergency Preparedness virtual training schedule. These trainings assist rural health clinics in meeting the emergency preparedness requirements for RHCs by providing tabletop exercises. They also offer trainings that assist with the completion of reports such as the After Action Report. Since these are provided virtually, this has been made available to those outside of Louisiana also.

There is no fee to participate. Registration links are provided for each of the trainings scheduled. A confirmation e-mail regarding the completion of the tabletop trainings (must attend the training in its entirety) is provided to confirm participation. The next scheduled training is scheduled to take place on June 2, 2020 at 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM CDT. (This training was rescheduled from May 19, 2020.) If you are unable to register for this particular webinar, we want to encourage you to register for future trainings being offered on Emergency Preparedness.
