The Medicare Standards and Checklist for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities has been updated for surveys on or after February 1, 2019.
- ASCs surveyed before February 1, 2019 will be surveyed with Standards Manual and Checklist V6.8 (ASC).
- ASCs surveyed on or after February 1, 2019 will be surveyed with Standards Manual and Checklist V7.0 (ASC).
The updated manual and checklist along with a comparison of the changes between the standards is available on the Medicare Surgical page.
