October 2008 - The Education Committee of the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc. (AAAASF) announces that it has developed a new comprehensive 3-disc DVD /CD package, the Accreditation Assistant for the Busy Medical Practice, to assist facilities in the accreditation process.
AAAASF president Lawrence S. Reed, M.D. says of this new product: “After years of listening to physicians' questions about our accreditation process and what they need to get started, we have developed this tremendous product to ease the pain and answer many frequently asked questions.” “We hope that this educational tool will help prevent some procrastination and allow medical practices to move forward on accreditation more efficiently,” he adds.
The AAAASF Board of Directors' goal when developing this product was to design an accreditation support system that includes the most comprehensive, peer based, educational and self-applicable methods for implementing nationally recognized standards to ensure patient safety and quality care within the ambulatory surgery environment.
This new 3-disc package makes AAAASF the most user friendly and accessible accreditation program available for ambulatory facilities. Here is what's inside:
First, Disc One: The video, "Preparing for Accreditation," is a step by step guided tour through the accreditation program from start to finish.
Watching this cutting edge DVD will introduce you to the process you are about to undertake.
