AAAASF releases white paper on thromboembolism prevention in outpatient cosmetic plastic surgery procedures

The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF), along with Dr. Samuel Lin, presents a retrospective analysis of data on deaths occurring in association with cosmetic plastic surgery procedures. These results are published in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities Inc. and Dr. Samuel Lin present “National Mortality Rates after Outpatient Cosmetic Surgery and Low Rates of Perioperative Deep Vein Thrombosis Screening and Prophylaxis,” a retrospective analysis of data on deaths occurring in association with cosmetic plastic surgery procedures, in the latest issue of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
