On Saturday, February 27th AAAASF Executive Director, Thomas Terranova, JD MBA MA, and Board Member, Monte Goldstein, MD, presented the important role that accreditation can serve to help facilities during ​an emergency or a global health crisis​, like COVID-19. The pandemic has made all aspects of accreditation, especially infection control and emergency preparedness, more relevant. AAAASF’s accreditation programs assess safety and provide a framework for all facilities worldwide to pursue ongoing performance improvement. This webinar highlight​ed important guidance and lessons learned throughout the pandemic.
