Patient Safety Data Reporting Period 1 2020 Extension

By May 27, 2020 No Comments

AAAASF understands that many facilities needed to close due the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to this hardship, AAAASF extended the Patient Safety Data Reporting (PSDR) Period 1 2020 (January 1 – March 31) due date for submissions from April 30 to July 15, 2020.  This extended due date coincides with the Period 2 2020 (April 1 – June 30) due date.  We hope this will give your facility ample time to enter the necessary data in the system.

Additionally, please remember that AAAASF requires a total of three (3) cases per physician to be submitted each period. For Period 2 2020 (April 1 – June 30), if cases were not performed in April (due to COVID-19 closure) then cases may be gathered from another month during the period to meet the required three (3) cases per physician. If a surgeon hasn’t performed three cases within the period, enter the cases which were performed in PSDR, then complete and submit the Override Form as appropriate.

Don’t hesitate to contact our Help Desk with any Patient Safety Data Reporting inquiries.  The AAAASF PSDR Help Desk can be reached by email or by phone at 224-643-7704.

Don’t forget we have an FAQ which may also have what you are looking for.
